Brean Down along military road

Bluebells,Birdsong and Butterflies

Description of sighting

A fine bright if windy morning. The Down was covered in Bluebells and the Somerset Rock Roses
were out on the Southern slopes. It seemed that most bushes had either a whitethroat singing on top or inside as I walked along the road.A pheasant was calling but not visible.Male Orange Tip,Green-veined white and small Tortoiseshell were quite visible.
