RSPB Group visit

Description of sighting

A very sunny and warm morning,a Little Owl in the bushes being harrased by small birds was the highspot.
Other birds seen were meadow pipit,golfinch,linnet, and Chiffchaff and the usual corvids.Very large numbers of Shelduck are building up along the estuary shoreline.A very obliging Goldcrest was seen in the bushes about
midway along the military road.

Paul reports a good list of species,these included 6 common scoter past on the sea and a golden plover overflying.A Harbour Porpoise was also seen.
