Brean Down from Steps to Fort

Migrants and baby Goats

Description of sighting

Very windy morning and reasonable weather. No sign of any rabbits but goats were very visible and this years youngsters were with their mothers, adult males in separate group. The usual birds were in small numbers and the weather conditions affected the sightings.A male wheatear was in the old quarry near the fort and several chiffchaffs in the bushes along the military road.A very bright willow warbler was also seen in the undergrowth.Near the fort a single peregrine was seen hunting.
