A quiet start -Report from Paul Bowyer

Description of sighting

After a quiet rain influenced start,bird numbers began to increase with Paul reporting 6500 swallow
as well as new sightings such as tufted duck,ringed plover and dunlin on the beach

Paul reports large numbers of swallows passing over and a group of 6 manx shearwater viewed distantly
from the end of the fort.He also saw 3 Harbour Porpoises in the rough water near Howe Rock
