A good fall of birds due to the right weather conditions
Paul reports considerable movements of meadow pipit and swallows over Brean Fort as well as
large number of grounded birds
migrant numbers begining to increase
20 species seen,grounded were:redwing,song thrush,blackbird,chiffchaff,blackcap,goldcrest,bullfinch
16 redwings seen.Grounded birds included 1 Dartford Warbler and 20 Song Thrush
High volume of migrant species,high spot was the incoming Brent Goose.Swallow numbers estimated at 1000
Migration movements continue.
migration continues with good numbers of hirundines going over, also 300 meadow pipit.Highlight is the appearance of a Wryneck (seen by James Packer) near the reservoir.

4500 swallow,100 sand martin and 280 house martin with 200 meadow pipit seen as part of visible migration.The only birds actualy grounded on Brean wee were chiffchaff and wheatear
