Paul reported good gull passage over Brean Down
large species passing through,major grouping again starlings ,species included chaffinch,brambling,song thrush,wagtails,siskins,greenfinch,pipits,buntings,skylarks,goldfinch,pigeon,linnit,golden plover,coal tit mistle thrush and yellowhammer.

Paul reports visible migration contiuing with a large number of species represented,major group being approx 2200 starlings.
Pipits and single merlin only grounded species.
RSPB Group visit,good flying display by the resident peregrine and kestrel.Strong winds restricted small bird activity on the down but the smaller birds,particularly goldfinches and stonechats were more active in the sheltered part near Brean Down Farm.A surprising number of swallows were still around.Good views also of the White Park cattle and the Goats.

species numbers are increasing with 22 seen this morning,the largest contingent again being approximatly 8500 starlings.The only grounding being a Ring Ouzel.
Migration continues with Paul reporting 18 species seen, the largest being a group of 1100 starlings
