A busy day!
First Pied Flycatcher on Brean for 2012
Paul reports an overflying Goosander as well as a Great Skua or "Bonxie"
Overcast,windy and some rain.
Good views of Chiffchaff and Willow Warblers in the bushes mid way along the road to the fort.
At least 4 Ravens were active and small groups of swallow were feeding.One pair of Stonechat were seen as well as singles.On the return trip a splendid male Common Redstart was found at the top of the slope and a single Peregrine was above the ridge.Whitethroats were visible and quite vocal.
